WILLIAMSON
Vintage Day
The Candler Field Museum invites you to take a trip back to the Roaring ’20s. Dress up in period costume and treat yourself to old-fashioned food while listening to music from the Freedom Belles and Bonnie Ridge Bluegrass. Plus, the main attraction of the day is the collection of vintage cars and planes on display. At 1 p.m., the Parade of Flight will begin with an announcer explaining each aircraft’s historical significance. Stay until the end of the day and take part in a candy drop as a rare 1917 Curtiss Jenny unleashes candy bars attached to parachutes. Proceeds will benefit the Candler Field Museum Youth Program.
11 a.m.-5 p.m. June 4. $10 per car. Peach State Aerodrome, 349 Jonathan's Roost Road, Williamson. 770-467-8318, peachstateaero.com.
