BROOKHAVEN

‘A Seussome Twosome’

Whether your kids know Dr. Seuss or not, whether they love him or think he’s a snot, an opera is here that’s got quite a lot. “Opera” and “kids” don’t always mix, but that’s something “A Seussome Twosome” aims to fix. A wacky cast dressed in outlandish splendor will put on a show that features all the classic Seuss characters. Sam-I-Am and Gertrude McFuzz will get the audience involved in the fun while they talk about keeping an open mind and loving yourself. This show is best suited for kids up to age 10, and for each ticket, only $10 you’ll spend! (No promises the kids will be inspired to speak in rhymes.)

11 a.m. May 21. $10. Oglethorpe University's Conant Performing Arts Center, 4484 Peachtree Road, Atlanta. 678-522-4338, ccityopera.org.
