Elegant Elf Marketplace
Santa’s elves have been working hard all year and so too have the 85 select local and regional vendors you’ll find at this year’s Elegant Elf Marketplace. Held over two days, the super-sized sale invites attendees to peruse jewelry, handcrafted fashions, handbags, toys and an array of other crafts. In between bouts of buying, fuel up at the Polar Express Cafe or get more gift ideas from the fashion show featuring items on sale. Proceeds support the local Sandy Springs community; since the marketplace began, more than $450,000 has gone back to 25 nonprofit groups in the area.

Marist School’s Holiday Traditions
And here’s another chance to get your holiday shopping finished early. The Marist School’s Holiday Traditions offers a wealth of gift ideas as well as great art. The event, one of the largest juried arts and craft shows in the Southeast, features more than 240 vendors showcasing their unique wares. Enter the raffle to win items donated by show artists and grab a sandwich or slice of poppy seed cake at the Cooked Goose Cafe. Homemade treats will also be on display as part of the bake sale booth. Avoid the parking hassles and take the shuttle service, located at the Ashford Green office complex.

Taste of Kennesaw
The talk of the town often centers around where the best food can be found. What better way to decide than to taste it all? Head to downtown Kennesaw to check out the annual taste of Kennesaw (and the Cobb County area), featuring more than 30 local restaurants, including Williamson Bros BBQ, California Dreaming and Bruster’s Ice Cream. Kick back to the sounds of live music from the main entertainment stage or get a more acoustic vibe from the stage at the Carrabba’s beer garden. If you’ve got little ones, be sure to swing by the Kids Zone with its 33-foot Shark Slide, 24-foot rock wall and a roller coaster obstacle course.
