JOHNS CREEK

Shawn Mullins Concert

On June 23, ev-er-y-thing’s gonna be all right in John’s Creek as the city hosts Atlanta native Shawn Mullins live in concert. A performer who’s born to shimmer and born to shine, Grammy-nominated Mullins will perform at 7 p.m., but those who arrive an hour early when the gates open will have an easier time snagging a spot on the green. You can also purchase a table for up to eight people. Once the show starts, Mullins will perform hits from his long career, including music from his ninth album “My Stupid Heart.” Before the show, Patty Wagon, Hurricane Grill and King of Pops food trucks will be on site with bites and beverages.

7 p.m. June 23. Free. Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek. 678-512-3200, johnscreekga.gov.
