MARIETTA
The Marietta Museum of History strives to preserve and showcase items from the city and Cobb County’s history, and illustrate the part this small corner of the country plays in world history. In addition to seeing the exhibits, the museum invites guests to bring their own pictures and artifacts on July 14-15. The curators are searching for photos and items that pertain to life in Cobb, be it at school, work, church or play. Bring your memories to have them scanned and returned, or donate them to the museum’s archives. All contributions are tax deductible and preserved for future generations.

DULUTH
Calling all crafters, scrappers and stampers! Sheath your scissors, holster your glue guns and step into an extraordinary expo designed with you in mind. The Stamp and Scrapbook Expo at Duluth’s Infinite Energy Center will feature two days of workshops, craft shopping, make-and-takes and exhibitors, all focused on helping you dream up, design and display your homemade crafts and goods. Workshops include courses on topics such as card making, coloring and photo albums. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day, and kids are welcome to attend, with those younger than 12 getting in free.

PEACHTREE CITY
Need a soccer fix? After all, it’s been nearly a week-and-a-half since Atlanta United’s win against San Jose, and it’s another two weeks until the Five Stripes have a home game. If you can’t wait that long, head down to Fayette County and check out Peachtree City MOBA, metro Atlanta’s Premier League Development (the highest amateur league) team. They’ll face off against Columbia’s South Carolina United Bantams at the MOBA Soccer Complex. General admission tickets are $15; group tickets for 10 or more are $10; kids 12 and younger get a $5 discount. This is the team’s last game of the season.
