KENNESAW
Holiday entertainment
One too many trips to the mall got you stressed? Consider relaxing to the calming sounds of the season next time you drop in at Cobb’s Town Center mall. Local organizations are helping spread holiday cheer as they perform at different locations throughout the shopping mecca. One of the performances will be Pianothon, a holiday fundraiser from the Cobb County Music Teachers Association that raises money to send students to music school. Other artists, including Hedman Strings and Phil Buben, also will be performing throughout the weekend. And, of course, Santa himself will be on hand to hear your holiday gift requests.
Various times, Dec. 16-18. Free. Town Center, 400 Ernest Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw. 770-424-0742, simon.com/mall/town-center-at-cobb.

Sensitive Santa
If your child has sensory or other special needs, this is the St. Nick you’ll want to visit. The Post Road Library welcomes Sensitive Santa, a special experience designed specifically for children who might not be comfortable with the long lines, bright lights and noise that come with the traditional mall meet-and-greets. Each child is given 10 minutes with Santa at a specific time. While you wait, there is a quiet area with low lighting where children can enjoy arts and crafts or have a snack. Registration is required in advance in order to reserve a specific time slot.
1:45-4 p.m. Dec. 18. Free. Post Road Library, 5010 Post Road, Cumming. 770-781-9840, forsythpl.org.
