Here's where to get a free ice cream cone on the first day of summer
Dairy Queen wants to kick summer off and your weekend with free ice cream.
On Friday, Dairy Queen invites Atlanta and U.S. customers to take advantage of a deal the fast food chain is only offering via its mobile app. DQ is offering a free small cone or dipped cone with any purchase at participating locations, according to a statement from Dairy Queen.
Some of metro Atlanta's Dairy Queen locations include ones in Alpharetta, Marietta, Smyrna, College Park, Decatur and Duluth.
