You haven't experience wine tasting until you've attended a Taste of Georgia event. This Friday, the Chateau Élan Winery will host Taste of Georgia on site, featuring educational and insightful discussions, delicious pairings and some of the best wine in the South. At this not-to-miss event, you'll enjoy local cheeses, chocolate, breads and even regional olive oil.

From live music to a parade and carnival rides, this year's Duluth Fall Festival will deliver a weekend full of seasonal fun for your whole family on Sept. 24 and 25. You won't have to pay an admission fee to attend the festival, set to take place in Downtown Duluth, but in order to enjoy the carnival rides and games you will have to purchase the ride tickets available on site. Proceeds from this event will benefit Historic Downtown Duluth.

Don't miss bringing your family to one of Georgia's top festivals this weekend. The Gwinnett County Fair will take place on the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, and will feature carnival rides, pageants, live music and entertainment, fun houses and livestock shows. From jugglers and magicians, to a BMX stunt show, this not-to-miss event has a little something for everyone.
Forever Remember 5K Walk/Run for Star Neuroscience Foundation. 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. $30 per racer, free to watch. Downtown Lawrenceville City Hall. 70 South Clayton St., Lawrenceville. 404-775-4485. www.active.com.
Join the Star Neuroscience Foundation in supporting research and raising awareness for Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Dementia and Stroke at the Forever Remember 5K Walk/Run on Saturday. It all takes place in Downtown Lawrenceville, and participants will receive a special race bag and purple shoelaces to show support of National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness.
