Holy Six Flags! Looks like the Joker is at it again because Batman the Ride will be running backward for a limited time when Six Flags Over Georgia opens in March.

With the train facing rearward riders will experience a new, disorienting reverse view, but only through May 10. After that, Batman will be running forward again.

The loops, twists and turns will be the same, but “imagine that experience when you can’t even see what’s in front of you,” said Dale Kaetzel, president of Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water. “It will be a unique, fun way to experience one of our most popular coasters.”

And there’s more coming to the Gotham City section of the park. The restaurant there is being renovated, and later this spring the park will open two more rides: the Joker Chaos Coaster, a giant loop of track, and Harley Quinn Spinsanity, a spinning family ride.

Six Flags Over Georgia opens for the season March 14 and will operate on weekends through May 17. The park will also open April 4-12 for spring break. Daily summer hours begin Memorial Day weekend. Season passes start at $59.99 with the purchase of a four-pack or more. More information at www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia.
