October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Attend these events, take advantage of these specials and help raise money for to fund breast cancer awareness efforts around Atlanta this month.

Party at Opera Nightclub on Oct. 3 starting at 8 p.m. during So*cial Saturday: Phantom of the Opera. There will be sponsored drinks, a live band and bites for guests with proceeds from donations, raffle sales and item sales to be donated to Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

Beginning Oct. 1 at Flywheel's three Atlanta area locations (Midtown, Buckhead, Avalon), when you purchase one of their new, limited edition pink sports bras, 20% of the purchase price will be donated to The Pink Agenda.

Throughout the month of Oct., Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall will be serving a Femme Fatale cocktail made with Old Fourth Ward vodka, raspberry syrup, lime and soda. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

During October when you shop at Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia or Phipps Plaza, you'll have the opportunity to purchase a purchase Style Pass at Guest Services for $5 containing retailer discounts with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Shoppers can also donate $5 in exchange for a classic pink ribbon pin to help show their support for the cause.

Oct. 4, Madison James of the AJC's Mad About Fitness blog invites guests to shop at the Bally Phipps Plaza store from 3 to 5 p.m. during their Sips and Stilettos event; 10% of the sales will benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

W Atlanta – Buckhead and Pink Barre are co-hosting Tuck for a Cause on the hotel's WET deck on Oct. 13. The poolside barre class will feature a workout combining elements of Pilates, isometric strengthening, ballet and yoga. Participants are asked to make a $5 minimum donation benefiting Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

Robert Graham invites you to shop on Oct. 14 at Phipps Plaza store from 4 to 8 p.m. when a portion of the proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

On Oct. 22, LKBennett London - Phipps Plaza invites shoppers to enjoy an evening of shopping, prosecco, bites and fundraising when 20% of the proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

Guests are invited to the Fashion Café at Lenox Square for its Pink Patio Party on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For a $1 donation, survivors, families and friends will have the chance to have their photo taken in a photo booth while holding their message of strength in support of the fight against breast cancer. The same event occurs at Mall of Georgia on Oct. 10 from 12-5 p.m.

On Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy a brunch spread, pink mimosa and painting class with Courtney "Muffin" Brooks for $30 per person at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta, including a take-home canvas featuring a personalized PINKTOBER-inspired design. 15 percent of proceeds will be donated to It's The Journey.

Watershed on Peachtree will celebrate the Prisoner Wine Company's newest releases with a jail-themed wine tasting on Oct. 27. Starting at 5:30 p.m. guests are invited to enjoy wines from the Prisoner Wines collection and bites by chef Zeb Stevenson. The restaurant will also serve as the Watershed Correctional Facility that evening with "officers" jailing people until their bail is set -- a $5 donation to The Beverly Foundation.
