Drink your Starbucks iced coffee fast because the longer it sits, the quicker it grows a clear pond on top of the good stuff. A layer of melted ice atop a perfectly-brewed, cup of joe. No one loves that.
Hopefully soon, you'll be able to order coffee cubes — ice cubes made with coffee instead of water. It's a trend that smaller chains like Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. have picked up. And Starbucks may jump on the wagon.

In a conversation with TODAY Food, a Starbucks rep confirmed that the coffee company is running a small test to see what kind of feedback customers give.
