Usher gets social media talking over at-home haircut from sons

While Gov. Brian Kemp gave the go-ahead for barbershops and other businesses previously deemed nonessential to reopen Friday, Usher decided to stay home and leave his shapeup to his two tween sons.

The results left social media users talking.

Us Weekly reported the singer shared haircut footage on his Instagram Story Saturday. In it, the "Don't Waste My Time" crooner's children use electric shavers and a hair sponge to cut and style their dad's hair.

“First class haircut right here,” the singer said in footage uploaded to Instagram by Noir Online.

Usher’s sons, 12-year-old Usher Raymond V and 11-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, picked and brushed their dad’s hair as he sat in the bathroom wearing a polka dot barber cape.

After the singer shared a shot of himself with a little bit of length left, Usher seemed to decide he wanted a little more hair shaved off. The final reveal showed the 41-year-old with a low haircut as he stepped out from the shadows of his home and into the light.

Several fans thought the new cut was spot on.

“They did good,” one fan remarked.

Another said the moment was “cute.”

Usher was one of several stars who appeared on the one-night revival of “Club MTV” for the special, “#DanceTogether with D-Nice.” At least a couple fans noticed the “Yeah!” performer was on the air from home with a fresh cut.

This isn’t the first time Usher has given a glimpse into how he’s spending his time at home. Earlier in April, the star shared a “bizarre” snack he’d been eating.

“I’m like, ‘Canned smoked oysters? Why?’ It’s just to do it,”  he told SiriusXM’s “The Heat,” questioning his eating habits.
