Most Atlanta residents will be spending this weekend watching Inauguration specials on television or cheering on the Falcons during their lasts game at the Georgia Dome.

For residents and visitors who aren’t interested in either of those things (or for people who want to do multiple things), this weekend’s things to do roundup features some great options.

From an arts festival to free admission into a local museum, here are five things to do throughout metro Atlanta this weekend:

“Troubadour”

Country music fans will love this musical with original music by Sugarland’s Kristian Bush. In the production, country music singer Billy Mason’s son, Joe, works to create a name for himself in the shadow of his father’s legacy.

Atlanta Symphony OrchestraThe Music of David Bowie

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will pay tribute to the late David Bowie on Jan. 20. "Join Conductor Brent Havens, vocalist Tony Vincent and a full rock band on a symphonic musical odyssey that explores the incredible range of David Bowie's music including the hits Space Oddity, Changes, Under Pressure, Heroes, Rebel Rebel, Fame, China Girl and more," the ASO's website reads.

Bowie died January 10, 2016.

Avondale Record Fair

The Avondale Record Fair returns to Avondale Estates again this year. Event organizers promise vinyl aficionados will get to do some serious crate digging at this event, which will feature dozens of vendors and thousands of records.

Vintage books, posters, action figures and other collectibles will also be available at the fair.

Some vendors will be equipped to accept credit cards, but bring cash, too. There will be a $3 admission at the door.

ATM machine will be available on the premises.

Free admission to Center for Puppetry Arts

Fulton County residents, students and government employees will receive free admission at the Center for Puppetry Arts on Jan. 21. Performances and workshops aren’t included, but participants can purchases an “all-inclusive ticket” at a 25 percent discount.

Callanwolde Arts Festival

The Callanwolde Arts Festival prides itself on being a festival “for artists by artists.” The indoor two-day festival will feature nearly 90 painters, photographers, glass artists, jewelers and more. The event will also host live music, artist demonstrations and feature dining offerings from local food trucks.

Tour a Tiny House at Atlantic Station. 

The #TinyLab will visit the mixed-use community as a part of the Proof is Possible U.S. Tour.

The tour will bring a series of panels and events to Atlantic Station, but if you’re not looking to spend any money you can tour the #TinyLab for free on Saturday and Sunday.
