Two wooden roller coasters operated by Six Flags are both named ROAR. The original coaster was built at Six Flags America in Mitchellville, Maryland in 1998 while the other was built in 1999 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.

Boulder Dash is a wooden roller coaster located at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut. It first opened in 2000 and was built by Custom Coasters International. This coaster is not for the weak! The lift climbs the mountainside and its first drop is 115 feet traveling 60 miles per hour.

Wicked Twister is a steel inverted impulse roller coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.

This wooden roller coaster is situated at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon County, Michigan. It was built by Custom Coasters International. Shivering Timbers debuted for the park's 30th year in operation in 1998. The name alone can send shivers up ones spine!

This Gerstlauer Eurofighter roller coaster is situated at Adventure Island in the UK. It was one of the biggest investments made by the park. It features three inversions: a Vertical loop, Immelmann and a Zero-G roll. Pretty major!

This thriller ride is located at the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. It is distinguished as the second roller coaster known to utilize the power of compressed air to launch its trains.

This coaster opened on the 4th of July in 2009 at the Flamingo Land Resort in the UK. Mumbo Jumbo is situated in the Lost Kingdom section of the park and has orange supports and black tracks. It boasts an impressive 98 foot vertical and features two inversions and a maximum G force of 4g.

The Boss is known to rule over its innocent riders! Standing at an incredible 150 feet, it features a lift of 122 feet and includes 4 drops of 150',112',103',and 72', and a 570 degree helix! Who's the boss?

The Kingda Ka located at Six Flags in New Jersey has been dubbed the world's tallest roller coaster towering at an amazing 456 feet (45 stories); it also has the biggest drop at 418 feet. It is the fastest coaster in North America. You better be ready for this coaster because it has a takeoff that goes from 0 to 128 mph in just 3.5 seconds!
