Fans will get an inside look into this upcoming Florida State football season.
The Seminoles will be featured on Showtime’s “A Season With . “ documentary, which will follow the team around throughout the season. Tomahawk Nation was the first to report the news.
The series premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, a day after FSU’s showdown with Ole Miss at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on Labor Day.
“We are very excited to partner with Showtime this season and eager to give college football fans a unique look into our program,” Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said in a statement. “At Florida State, we have a tremendous family atmosphere, and we are looking forward to showcasing what makes FSU football special.”
Here is what to expect according to the producers:
“From the opening week matchup with the Ole Miss Rebels to showdowns with perennial rivals Clemson, Miami and Florida, ‘A Season With Florida State Football’ will deliver the sights, sounds and drama from the entire season as the Seminoles aim for their second National Championship in the last four years.”
Notre Dame football was featured in a 14-episode season in 2015 which provided fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the team.
Florida State is expected to be ranked among the top 10 teams in the country when the season starts with the Seminoles among one of the favorites to win the ACC.
