Congrats! You’ve (almost) made it through another work week.
You deserve an award. You deserve a spring festival, concert or an expo with reality television stars as keynote speakers. Granted, you’ll have to “treat yo self” in order to participate in any of these events, but it’s worth it.
Here are five things to do in Atlanta this weekend:
Following Sweetwater 420 Fest, Shaky Knees Festival will bring more live music to downtown Atlanta. Taking place in Centennial Olympic Park and International Plaza, the lineup for this year's festivals is a rock or alternative music lover's dream. From headliners Florence + The Machine and My Morning Jacket, to The 1975 and The Decemberists, attendees will get to indulge in typical festival fun to the tunes of their favorite bands.

The Atlanta Opera is revisiting this classic tale of star-crossed lovers for the first time since 2007. Charles Gounod’s opera is sung in French and “reexamines [Shakespeare’s] story through a decidedly French romantic lens,” according to the organization’s website. If you’re looking to enjoy a familiar and enjoyable production, this is certainly a great choice.
