"Pollock," 2000: Ed Harris won an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as the tortured American painter Jackson Pollock.

"Basquiat," 1996: The biopic on street artist Jean-Michel Basquiat stars Jeffrey Wright in the title role and David Bowie as Andy Warhol.

"I Shot Andy Warhol," 1996: Lili Taylor stars in the true story of Valerie Solanas, who shot Andy Warhol after he ignored her requests to produce her screenplay.
