“Songs Not Silenced: Music Forbidden in the Holocaust”
Kennesaw State University is hoping to bring attention to composers who were silenced during the Holocaust with a free concert. The program will feature music from composers who were banned in Europe, as well as commentary.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Atlanta’s Irish community will be celebrated during the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Dancers, drill teams, Bagpipe and Drum Corps, floats, and more can be spotted by spectators on March 11.

Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival
With spring right around the corner, festival season kicks off this month. The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival will invite attendees to explore an Arts & Crafts Market, coo at cute animals during a Pet Parade, dine on food truck fair and listen to live music at Blackburn Park.

Exploration Expo
The Atlanta Science Festival won’t host a parade this year, but the event’s annual Exploration Expo will once again take over Centennial Olympic Park. More than 1,000 hands-on activities, chemistry demos, explosions and more will keep families entertained throughout the day.
A Ping Pong Big Bang exhibit will feature hundreds of ping pong balls exploding simultaneously at the Fountain of Rings at noon.
