Taylor Swift conquered 2015, and she has wasted no time trying to get a head start on 2016.
The international icon released her latest music video for "Out of the Woods" during "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" special.
The song is the sixth single from her "1989" album.
The video begins with Swift on the beach staring at the ocean after a breakup. Soon vines overcome her and she is in the woods being chased by wolves.
She escapes them only to meet them again on a snowy mountain during the next verse.
Swift then falls into water only to find herself in woods again. The pattern continues but with heavy rains and fire thrown into the mix.
In the end, she emerges from the woods and sees the previous, untested version of herself still standing on the beach.
The video fades to black with the words "She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything."
