According to Twisted Sister's official website, drummer A.J. Pero has died.

The band posted the following statement: "The members of Twisted Sister are profoundly saddened to announce the untimely passing of our brother, A.J. Pero [drums]. The band, crew and most importantly the family of A.J. Pero thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time."

The Associated Press is reporting that Pero died of an apparent heart attack.

According to the music website Blabbermouth.net, Pero, 55, also was a member of the band Adrenaline Mob and the Ozzy Osbourne cover band No More Tears.
