Atlanta Music Scene The Who resurrect ‘Quadrophenia’ at Gwinnett Center Arena

The Who, one of rock's legendary and defining bands, brought their North America tour to the Gwinnett Arena Monday night. They performed their iconic 1973 double album Quadrophenia in its entirety, along with a selection of Who classics.

Roger Daltrey performs "I Am the Sea." The critically acclaimed Quadrophenia marked the British band's second rock opera (after Tommy) and hit #2 on the U.S. Billboard album chart.

The Who perform "The Real Me." Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were accompanied by Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals).

Pete's brother, Simon Townshend, is an excellent guitarist.

Drummer Zak Starkey, who replaced Keith Moon, is Ringo Starr's son.

Bassist Pino Palladino replaced the late John Entwistle.
