The Georgia Theatre, a musical landmark in Athens, burned down in June 2009. The building, once a YMCA and later a moviehouse, hosted many nationally known music acts as well as homegrown groups, including Atlanta's Zac Brown Band. The theater is set to reopen in August 2011.
