Amanda "Mandy" Leigh Moore was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 10, 1984. She grew up in Florida.

Mandy Moore came to fame as a teenager in the early 2000s, after the release of her teen-oriented pop albums 'So Real, I Wanna Be with You,' and 'Mandy Moore.'

Moore has developed a successful film career, starring in 2002's 'A Walk to Remember' and later appearing in the lead roles of other movies aimed at teenage audiences.

She got the attention of the tabloids with her romance with tennis star Andy Roddick and then actors Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff.

Moore's fifth album, 'Wild Hope,' was released this year.

The album got generally positive reviews and debuted at No. 30. on the Billboard 200 -- her third highest charting album in the U.S.
