When Canadian singer Justin Bieber showed up 2 hours late for his show at London's O2 Arena, many fans, some as young as five, were taken home early by disgruntled chaperones with some not able to see the singer at all.

For those who stayed, Bieber's performance only lasted 40 minutes before the O2 Arena's noise curfew stopped the show.

The singer, blaming "technical issues," insisted he had only been 40 minutes. In a tweet to his 35 million followers: "There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that."
