FRIDAY

Train

While the California band behind such inescapable hits as “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter” is struggling to hit a home run with its latest album, “Bulletproof Picasso,” Train frontman Pat Monahan said the plan is to play about seven songs from “Bulletproof” at each show. If Atlanta fans are lucky, perhaps the band also will break out its killer cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On.”

With the Fray and Matt Nathanson. 7 p.m. June 5. $29.50-$79.50. Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.

Lou Gramm

The “voice of Foreigner” will take the stage with an orchestra guest-conducted by Brent Havens. In 2003, after leaving the rock band that produced such classic rock staples as “Jukebox Hero,” “Urgent,” “Double Vision” and the definitive prom theme of the ’80s, “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” Gramm formed the Lou Gramm Band. He released a Christian album in 2009 and three years ago changed the group’s name to the more obvious Lou Gramm the Voice of Foreigner. In 2013, Gramm released his autobiography, “Juke Box Hero: My Five Decades in Rock ’n’ Roll.”

SATURDAY

New Kids on the Block

Although NKOTB are the rightful headliners of this nostalgia blast, the homecoming of Atlanta’s TLC is what will pique the interest of many local fans. In a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas said of her and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins’ tour mates, “They have crazy hits and we share that same thing. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly

It wouldn’t feel like summer without a visit from Maze and its iconic frontman. Since the early ’70s, when Beverly toured with his early band Raw Soul and later changed the name at the urging of Marvin Gaye, the melding of R&B, soul and funk that emanates off the stage has transported audiences. A faithful following will be on hand to get “Back in Stride” with the crew this weekend.

WEDNESDAY

Charli XCX

The English singer-songwriter born Charlotte Emma Aitchison initially came to be recognized for co-writing Icona Pop's sassy 2012 hit, "I Love It." Then came the chorus of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," which Charli XCX elevated from a catchy phrase to an insta-karaoke earworm. She followed that with the Top 10 hit "Boom Clap," and now we have a star on the rise. Charli XCX will hit the road later this summer with Jack Antonoff of Bleachers and fun. fame, but first will entertain the crowd at Turner Field after the Braves take on the San Diego Padres.

Post-game concert June 10. Free with a paid game ticket or $20 for a field pit pass. Turner Field, 755 Hank Aaron Drive S.E., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, braves.com.
