Atlanta has always been a place where music fans could see acts who vary in popularity and sound. With major music festivals such as Music Midtown taking place this month that continues to ring true.
From Beyonce to the Goo Goo Dolls, there are a lot of great acts coming to town this month. There’s even one singer whose return might appease previously disappointed fans.
Here is our list of 15 concerts to attend in metro Atlanta this month:
Sibling duo Broods will perform at Center Stage in support of their sophomore album “Conscious.” The New Zealand pair is known for releasing singles such as “Bridges” and “Mother & Father.”

The Goo Goo Dolls will rock Chastain Park Amphitheatre with 90s hits such as “Iris” and “Slide” during Labor Day weekend.

Bad Boy Family Reunion
Puff Daddy and several artists from his Bad Boy reign will unite for a concert at Philips Arena when the “Bad Boy Family Reunion” stops in Atlanta. Lil Kim, Mase, Carl Thomas, The Lox, French Montana and Atlanta’s 112 are scheduled to perform.
Faith Evans, who was threatened with a lawsuit by an Atlanta concert promoter after joining the tour, is not listed in the lineup.

Hip-Hop and R&B fans will get to hear some of the most popular artists from the genres today, as well as pioneers on Sept. 10. Atlanta collective Dungeon Family will bring artists such as Big Boi, CeeLo Green and Killer Mike to the Lakewood Amphitheatre stage ahead of headliners Erykah Badu and Ice Cube. Andra Day, Gary Clark Jr. and Jazmine Sullivan are also scheduled to perform.

Bobby Brown, Next and Avant
Faith Evan’s name has also been removed from the “Affordable Old School Concert Series.” According to Wolf Creek Amphitheater’s website, Bobby Brown, Avant, Next and other artists are scheduled to perform at the College Park venue on Sept. 10.

Singer Darius Rucker hasn’t released an album since the 2015 country offering “Southern Style,” but he’ll have plenty of material to entertain fans with at his Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre show on Sept. 11.

Kanye West’s show at Philips Arena is sure to be a spectacle. The rapper will return to the venue as a part of his “The Saint Pablo Tour” on Sept. 12.

Music Midtown
Twenty One Pilots, The Killers, Beck, Leon Bridges, James Bay, DNCE and Raury are among this year’s Music Midtown lineup. The popular two-day festival takes place in Piedmont Park, giving viewers a great view of the city as they listen to their favorite artists.

Top Dawg rapper Schoolboy Q is currently touring to promote his “Blank Face” album. The “Collard Greens” rapper will perform at The Tabernacle on Sept. 19.

Following the success of his breakout single “Say It,” Canadian rapper Tory Lanez released his debut album “I Told You” in August. The rapper will perform the hit, as well as songs from the album, at Center Stage Theater on Sept. 21.

Lauryn Hill
Following a late arrival and disastrous ending to her show at Chastain Park Amphitheatre earlier this year, it appears Lauryn Hill may be fulfilling her promise to make it up to her Atlanta fans.
According to her website, Lauryn Hill is scheduled to perform at the venue again on Sept. 24. Details such at ticket prices and the time of the concert are scarce at this point, so we’ll just have to wait and see what Ms. Hill is up to.

If you didn’t experience the magic that comes with singing along to “White Iverson” with a crowd of fans when Post Malone opened for Justin Bieber earlier this year, you’re about to get another chance. The rapper will perform at Masquerade on Sept. 26.

Beyonce
September is all about second chances, apparently. Fans who missed Beyonce’s concert earlier this year will have an opportunity to get in formation on Sept. 26 when the singer returns to the Georgia Dome. And, let’s be honest, there will probably be a few people who attended the previous show in attendance, too.

Broody singer James Blake will bring his latest album, “The Colour in Anything,” to life during a show at The Tabernacle on Sept. 28.

The Used will perform two nights in a row at The Tabernacle this month as a part of their "15th Anniversary Tour." The first night is dedicated to their self-titled debut album, while night two is all about their sophomore album, "In Love and Death."
