Kiss rocks Melbourne, Australia

Celebrating their 35th anniversary, Gene Simmons and KISS kicked off their KISS Alive/35 World Tour on Sunday.

The concert followed the Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne.

Even at 58, Gene Simmons dominates the stage.

Original members Simmons and Paul Stanley are on the tour, which will go on to Europe.

Blabbermouth.net posted some of the songs on the set list, including 'Deuce,' 'Calling Dr. Love' and 'I Was Made for Loving You.'

Paul Stanley, 56, reportedly missed the last date of the band's 2007 tour because of a rapid heartbeat.

But the Star Child looks like he's feeling much better these days.

Original members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley have been replaced by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, shown here with Simmons and Stanley.

The first Kiss show is thought to have been on Jan. 30, 1973, in front of a very small crowd at the Popcorn Club in Queens, N.Y.
