Why is that man (Lawrence Clayton as Montel) dancing in a diaper?

He wants his lover, Emily Skinner as Andrea, to let him be a baby in 'Jerry Springer - The Opera' in New York.

Harvey Keitel has the role of Jerry Springer in the show, which was booked for Tuesday and Wednesday nights at Carnegie Hall.

This singing and dancing version of Springer's daytime TV talk show includes Max von Essen as transvestite Tremont, who dances while Patricia Phillips as Peaches, (right) looks appalled and Luke Grooms as Dwight looks indecisive.

The show has been a hit in Britain, where it also drew protests.

Tremont and Peaches fight for the love of Dwight.

Keitel (Springer) talks to his guests, Luke Grooms (Dwight,) Patricia Phillips (Peaches) and Linda Balgord as Zandra. Dwight isn't sure whether he should chose his fiancee, fiancee's friend or the transvestite.

Keitel, sharing the stage with Linda Balgord as Zandra, doesn't sing in the opera.
