Goo Goo Dolls, Boyz II Men highlight 2014 Classic Chastain series
The Delta Classic Chastain series presented by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will bring some classic rock, a little “Motownphilly” and smooth jazz to Chastain Park Amphitheatre this summer.
Here is this year’s lineup.
The Friday night concerts:
June 27: The Temptations and the Four Tops
July 11: Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry with special guest Plain White T's
Aug. 15: Gipsy Kings with special guest Ole Noys
Aug. 22: Boyz II Men and En Vogue
Sept. 12: Tedeschi Trucks Band with special guest John Hiatt
* One additional series show to be announced.
The Saturday night concerts:
June 21: The Music of U2 with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra featuring vocalist Brody Dolyniuk
June 28: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Rick Springfield
July 12: Sunset Jazz featuring Boney James, Brian Culbertson and Summer Love Tour with Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown and Alex Bugnon
Aug. 16: Dave Koz and Friends — Summer Horns 2014 with Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright and Richard Elliot
Sept. 13: Charlie Wilson

Season subscription packages go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31. Friday and Saturday night series subscriptions will be available, as well as the “Take 5” and “Take 3” mini-series packages (pick five or three shows to attend).
