Atlanta actress Monyetta Shaw has agreed to "adopt" 48 children in the African nation of Swaziland, TMZ is reporting.

Shaw, the girlfriend of Atlanta-based R&B star Ne-Yo, won't actually bring the children home to live with her, but she will pay their living costs for a year -- estimated at $20,000, TMZ says.

TMZ said "Football Wives" star Chanita Foster, wife of former Georgia Bulldog George Foster and founder of the Beyond the Game charity, contacted Monyetta about providing children in Swaziland with food, clothes and education. Each child costs about $30 a month to support.

Shaw, who has had roles in such films as "Major Movie Star" and "Soul Men," and Ne-Yo (Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr.) have two children together.
