Elliott Yamin Q100 One on One Lunch, Friday, December 21, 2007, Hard Rock Cafe:

'American Idol' alum Elliott Yamin treated several dozen Q100 radio winners to an intimate concert Friday afternoon at the Hard Rock Cafe.

A resident of Richmond, Va., Elliott Yamin was the third-place finalist on the fifth season of 'American Idol.'

Elliott Yamin performs 'One Word' at All The Hits Q100's Q One On One. He was born in Los Angeles to an Israeli father of Iraqi Jewish descent and a Jewish American mother of Ashkenazi descent.

Elliott Yamin answered questions from the audience in between each of the three songs he played. Q100 DJ Wendy is on the left.

Yamin walks onstage for his intimate concert after the fans ate lunch in the Velvet Room at the Hard Rock downtown.

Elliott sings his hit, 'Wait For You' Friday afternoon for Q100 winners. He is almost totally deaf in his right ear, and was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 16. He wears an insulin pump to help him manage his diabetes.

Fans were allowed to take photos and met the star after the performance.
