Dave Matthews Band plays Hollywood Bowl

The band recently announced the release of the 10th volume of Dave Matthews Band Live Trax series.

The May 25, 2007, show in Lisbon was selected for the band's Live Trax volume 10. Dave Matthews band performed Oct. 1 in Los Angeles.

The Dave Matthews Band's first public appearance was at a Charlottesville, Va., Earth Day Festival in April 1991, according to the band's Web site.

So it's fitting that the band has committed to offsetting the carbon dioxide emissions from its touring activities by contributing to the constructions of Native American and Native Alaskan renewable energy generators.

Many in the crowd at Piedmont Park left their cars at home and used public transportation to support the Green Concert last month in Atlanta.

The Dave Matthews Band bassist Stephan Lesard also performed at Piedmont Park last month.
