Mike Epps was announced as the host for this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be filmed in Atlanta on Sept. 29, 2012 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center and will air Oct. 9 on BET. The nominees include:

Best Hip-Hop Video: 2 Chainz will compete with “No Lie,” his collaboration with Drake and go up against ASAP Rocky (”Goldie”); Drake featuring Lil Wayne (pictured, ”HYFR”); Wale featuring Miguel (”Lotus Flower Bomb”); and Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz (”Mercy”).

Best Club Banger: Cash Out (pictured, ”Cashin’ Out”); Drake, Lil Wayne and Tyga (”The Motto”); Future (”Same Damn Time”); Jay-Z and Kanye West (’Paris”); and Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz (”Mercy”).
