With a new moon shining over the Brookhaven Blockbuster store, it was a perfect night to promote the DVD release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" on Friday, March 19.

More than 300 screaming Twilight fans stood in line for hours to get a signed copy of the DVD handed to them by two of the film's actors.

"New Moon" is the second film based on Stephenie Meyer's popular teen-vampire romance series, which has recently gotten crowded with werewolves.

Chaske Spencer, left, and Tyson Houseman greet the fans. They play Sam Uley and Quil Ateara, respectively in "New Moon." Both characters are members of "the Wolfpack."

The actors worked the "graveyard shift" in order to pass out copies of the film's DVDs when they went on sale at midnight. The party was cohosted by Star 94's on-air personality "Spoon."

Fans make sure the evening's excitement is properly archived on their camera phones.

Houseman and Spencer show their good sides to the cameras while signing the DVDs.
