Stars of 'Inglourious Basterds' at worldwide premieres

Stars of 'Inglorious Bastards' as well as Angelina Jolie show up at premieres around the world.

SHE'S NOT even in the movie, but Angelina Jolie (with Brad Pitt's sideburns at right) stole the show at the Los Angeles premiere of 'Inglourious Basterds.'

SO LET'S get it out of the way, then -- the Angelina adoration moment.

HERE SHE is with Brad Pitt meeting Sidney Poitier and his daughter Sydney.

EVEN WITH a screen legend in the frame (Poitier at second right), the photographer who took this picture still focused on Angelina. Tough luck, Sidney.

DIRECTOR QUENTIN TARANTINO has curiously compared this movie to a spaghetti Western. It opens Aug. 21.

SAMUEL L. JACKSON narrates this war movie.

DIANE KRUGER, who is German, plays a a German film star and Allied spy.

B.J. NOVAK ('The Office') and Eli Roth ('Hostel') play troops in the movie.

SARAH SILVERMAN shows her trademark restraint. (She's obviously that person who everybody hates to have in family photos, because she makes dumb faces and refuses to just smile.)

KRUGER IS joined by Melanie Laurent, a French-born actress who plays a Jewish women in the film.

JUST A hop over the pond in England, Rihanna was on hand for the London premiere.

JUST VISITING: Actor Mickey Rourke arrives at a cinema in central London on Thursday for the British premiere of U.S. director Quentin Tarantino's latest film, "Inglourious Basterds."

HERE'S KRUGER again, looking like a model.

AND FINALLY ... Neve Campbell, who is sadi to be working on 'Scream 4.'
