JUST AFTER midnight, the Regal Mall of Georgia flung open its doors and welcomed Hogwarts fans to see the new movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." There were eight showings.

Mary Kate Halpin, 13, of Flowery Branch, and Jordan Davis, 13, of Buford, posted before a Harry Potter sign at Regal Mall of Georgia Thursday before an early showing of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." Halpin is a movie lover and Davis swears she's read the entire Potter series seven times.

NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD Tony Montanaro of Cumming hasn't read the "Harry Potter" books, but he loves the movies -- and their stars. "I'm just looking forward to Emma Watson," he said.
