Pastor Brown' filming shows off Atlanta

"Pastor Brown," written by Marietta screenwriter Rhonda Baraka, has been shooting at locations around the city.

"Pastor Brown" has been shooting at locations around the city, including Beulah Baptist Church in Decatur, and wraps Wednesday. Marietta screenwriter Rhonda Baraka originally had set the film in Detroit, but actor-director Rockmond Dunbar decided to shoot in Atlanta after he wrapped "Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys."

Rockmond Dunbar blocks a scene with Tasha Smith. Dunbar plays Amir, a Muslim who is "very peaceful, very calm, very respectful of women and other religions," Rhonda Baraka says.

In a career that spans more than 30 years, Ernie Hudson might be best known for his roles in the "Ghost Busters" movies and on HBO's "Oz."

Rockmond Dunbar has starred in "Prison Break" and the "Soul Food" television series, but this is only the second film he has directed.
