Cast of the "Back To The Future" trilogy - Huey Lewis (from left), Mary Steenburgen, Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson and director Robert Zemeckis - gathered Monday in New York for the 25th anniversary of the original movie release and to promote the movies' release on Blu-ray. "Back To The Future" was 1985's highest grossing film, spawning two sequels and racking up five Oscar nominations.

"Back To The Future" star Michael J. Fox arrives with his wife, actress Tracy Pollan, at the 25th anniversary reunion. Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, says the role brought him to where he is now and he "wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Star Michael J. Fox - who at the time was more widely known for his TV role on "Family Ties" - says the 1985 film gave him worldwide notoriety and that he could "walk down the street in Bangkok" and hear "Marty McFly!" Actors Cory Hart and Eric Stoltz were originally considered for the role of Marty McFly. Johnny Depp also auditioned for the part.

Huey Lewis wrote the song "The Power of Love," which topped the music charts and was featured in the 1985 film, for which his group, Huey Lewis and the News, also recorded the theme song, "Back in Time." Lewis has a cameo appearance in the film as a faculty member. "Power of Love" was nominated for an Academy Award.

Actress Mary Steenburgen, who played role of Clara Clayton says she kept a tiny pin from her costume that said Clara. But she gave it as a gift to her friend Clara, who took her to see the Beatles when she was 5, as a thank you. Props from the three movies are being auctioned with all the proceeds going to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

"Back To The Future" star Lea Thompson arrives for 25th anniversary reunion. The actress, who portrayed Lorraine Baines McFly, revealed that, "I still have my pink dress, from the prom. And every Halloween my kids try it on and I'm like, no you can't wear that to a party."
