Men of Soul' crooners woo their fans at Fox

How could it be anything but an evening of smooth vocals when Peabo Bryson, Jeffery Osborne, Freddy Jackson and Lenny Williams come together. Here Bryson, Osborne and Jackson sing Osborne's "You Should Be Mine" (woo woo song) as a finale at the Fox Theatre Saturday.

Peabo Bryson was born on April 13, 1951 in Greenville, S.C. Bryson won a Grammy Award in 1992 for his performance of the song "Beauty and the Beast" with C line Dion and another in 1993 for "A Whole New World" (Aladdin's Theme) with Regina Belle.

Jeffery Osborne was born in Providence, R.I. He is the youngest of 12 children and is part of a musical family. Osborne started his music career in 1970 with a band called Love Men Ltd. He left L.T.D. in late 1980 to start a solo career. His solo success includes five gold and platinum albums.

Freddie Jackson was born on Oct. 2, 1956. Jackson's well known hits are "Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)", "Jam Tonight", "Do Me Again, " and "You Are My Lady."

Lenny Williams was born Feb. 16, 1945 in Little Rock, Ark. Williams was the lead vocalist for Tower of Power. As a soloist, he made several hit recordings, including "Cause I Love You" and "Choosing You."
