FRIDAY
Luke Bryan
Much like fellow Georgia native Jason Aldean, Bryan’s stock keeps reaching new pinnacles. The Leesburg hit machine with the tight jeans and backward baseball cap just scored his seventh chart-topper since 2010 — “Play it Again,” from his “Crash My Party” album, which is nearing 2 million in sales. His popularity in his home state continues to grow, as he’s nearly sold out two nights at Lakewood.
With Lee Brice and Cole Swindell. 7 p.m. July 25-26. $29.50-$59.25. Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.
SATURDAY
Art Garfunkel
It was just over three years ago that one of the most indelible singer-songwriters in pop music history lost his voice. He wasn’t sure he’d ever be onstage again after battling vocal-cord paresis. But Garfunkel is happily singing again — “I feel like 26,” he said recently — and will even head to the U.K. this fall.
8 p.m. July 26. $39.50-$79.50. Symphony Hall, 1280 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 404-733-5000, ticketmaster.com.
O.A.R.
With their eighth studio album, “The Rockville LP,” named for their hometown of Rockville, Md., O.A.R. offers more of the melodic indie rock that has propelled the band since 1996. Their 2008 hit, “Shattered (Turn the Car Around),” earned them platinum status and a Top 5 chart position. The band is back on the charts with their latest single, “Peace.” They’re well-matched with the 2012 “American Idol” winner, Albany native Phillip Phillips. P-squared has topped the charts with the easy-going strummers “Home” and “Gone, Gone, Gone” and is supporting his second album, “Behind the Light.”
With Phillip Phillips. $35.50-$40.50 (this is a no-table setup; coolers and carry-ins are not permitted). Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Drive N.W., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
Michael Bolton
Go ahead, fire up the jokes. Bolton doesn’t care because he’s heard all of them. And he’s smart enough to poke fun at himself (evidence: the “SNL” “Jack Sparrow” — aka “I’m on a Boat” — digital short). But let’s not forget that Bolton’s warm rasp has helped him sell more than 50 million albums (“Soul Provider” and “When I’m Back on My Feet Again” are stone-cold classics). He’s also written hits for everyone from Cher to Kiss to Kenny G. So, instead of the jokes that usually accompany his name, how about a little respect?
With Lauren Matthews. 8 p.m. July 26. $50-$80. Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City. 877-725-8849, ticketalternative.com.
TUESDAY
John Legend
Though he just played the Fox last fall, Legend is cruising on the strength of his first No. 1 hit, the dreamy ballad “All of Me” (now also a pulsing dance song in remixed form). This new summer outing (dubbed the All of Me Tour) will feature Legend in an intimate acoustic setting with guitar-vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet. So … no dance remixes.
With Marsha Ambrosius. 8 p.m. July 29. $36.50-$81. Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Drive N.W., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
WEDNESDAY
Sarah McLachlan
It took four years for the pop chanteuse to release a new album, but the rock-leaning “Shine On” is a revelation. And even if she never returns to the late ’90s Lilith Fair success of “Angel” and “Building a Mystery,” McLachlan will always have those sniffles-inducing ASPCA ads as part of her legacy.
8 p.m. July 30. $50.50-$94.55. Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Drive N.W., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
Fall Out Boy
Known as the godfathers of the emo movement of the mid-′00s, Fall Out Boy has made an impressive return after taking a five-year break between albums. Their 2013 release, “Save Rock and Roll,” returned Pete Wentz and the boys to the radio with the anthem “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ’Em Up),” co-written by Georgia native Butch Walker. The band returned to Atlanta last fall for a show with Panic! At the Disco, and for this Monumentour are joined by their pals in Paramore.
7 p.m. July 30. $26-$66. Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.
