TV Land Awards honor funny guys (and gals)

Photos from the TV Land Awards, which have traditionally honored classic television but included fan favorites in movies for the first time. Jonathan Winters, Lionel Richie, Garry Marshall, Mike Myers and the casts of "Golden Girls" and "Roseanne" were among those who were honored.

The TV Land Awards brought together an unusual mix of stars as it honored classic TV shows as well as fan favorites in movies. Host Vanessa Williams was a diva on a wire as she sang "I'm Flying" from "Peter Pan."

TV stars from the past joined Vanessa Williams. After a marijuana arrest in October, you would think TV Land would have gone out of its way to keep "Gilligan's Island" star Dawn Wells on the ground. Nope. Insert your Mary Ann-gets-high jokes here.

Gary Coleman of "Different Strokes" said that his wife likes to sell items, including his autographs, on eBay. Sounds like something out of "Avenue Q." Oh wait. Another case of life imitating art.

Barry Williams is still rockin' the shiny metallic shirt that was popular during the "Brady Bunch" heyday in the '70s. Hey, Greg, it might be time to change.

Alison Arngrim, who played spoiled brat Nellie Olesen on "Little House on the Prairie," slips the audience a little tongue, and a lot of attitude.

There's only one word for high-flying "Good Times" star Jimmie Walker. All together now: "DY-NO-MITE!"

"Roseanne" stars Roseanne Barr and John Goodman try to figure out just how much they can get for their Innovator Award on eBay. Maybe Gary Coleman can help them out.

Comedienne Kathy felt at home with so many D-list celebrities at the show.

"The Golden Girls" Betty White, Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan accept their Pop Culture Award. Attention "Sex and the City" ladies. This is what you'll look like in 30 years.

After "The Office" cast accepted its Future Classic Award, five of them went off and inked deals for reality shows.

Jonathan Winters' presence alone was enough to make former "Mork & Mindy" co-star Robin Williams crack up. No wonder the comedian was presented with the Pioneer Award.

Justin Timberlake plays air guitar as he introduces Mike Myers, who received the Legacy of Laughter Award. But Justin is no Wayne. Then again, he probably never saw Myers' character on "Saturday Night Live." Most parents don't let their 13 years olds -- that's how old JT was when Wayne last appeared on "SNL" -- stay up that late.

Mike Myers got serious for a moment when accepting the award, which is named for comedic legend Lucille Ball. Just like Lucy, we love Mike, too.

William Shatner doesn't know what to do after Ed Asner asks him to pull his finger.

Penny Marshall was not a happy camper as she and "Laverne & Shirley" co-star Cindy Williams introduce the Legend Award recepient. She had to miss the Lakers game, and she couldn't find a milk and Pepsi anywhere. The things you sacrifice for your brother.

The brother in question is Garry Marshall, whose numerous credits include creating "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley" and "Mork & Mindy" and directing "Pretty Woman" and "The Princess Diaries" films.

Robin Williams tried his best to romance Vanessa Williams, but she just couldn't take him seriously. Try again when your divorce is final, Robin. Vanessa wouldn't even have to change her last name.

Having the opportunity to introduce Lionel Richie made Samuel L. Jackson feel like dancing on the ceiling.

Lionel Richie performs a medley of his greatest hits. Happily it didn't go on "All Night Long." When he was finished, Richie accepted the Icon Award for his 40 years in show business.
