"Her powers are off the charts, and when she's introduced, she will be by far the strongest character we've ever had," Marvel's Kevin Feige told Vulture.

And you can be one of the first to see her in action.

"Captain Marvel," starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, introduces a new superhero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It takes place during the '90s and will likely explain why Captain Marvel has not been seen in previous MCU movies.

Her arrival was teased at the end of “Avengers: Infinity War,” as Nick Fury (played by Jackson) summoned her to Earth while half the world’s population was turning to dust.

Advance tickets went on sale in January, and the movie has already outpaced “Wonder Woman” presale numbers. “Captain Marvel” is now behind only “Black Panther”  for advance ticket sales of a superhero origin story. The movie officially opens March 8.

For Atlanta super fans looking to score free tickets to the potential blockbuster hit, you’re in luck.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is giving away tickets to 20 fans to view a special screening of “Captain Marvel.”

Here’s what to know about winning free tickets:

  • Enter the contest here, and you could win the chance to see it at 7 p.m. March 5 at Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 16 before its official premiere March 8.
  • All you need is an email address to enter.
  • Each lucky winner will receive two tickets to the special screening at Regal Atlantic Station.
  • Seats are first come, first serve if you win the tickets.

The “Captain Marvel” contest is made possible through a partnership of The AJC, Kiss 104.1 FM, B98.5 and 97.1 The River. The media companies are part of Cox Media Group-Atlanta.
