MORROW
‘A Celtic Yuletide With Michael Londra’ at Spivey Hall
Best known as the lead singer from “Riverdance” and star of the PBS special “Beyond Celtic,” Londra takes the audience on a virtual trip to Ireland, which will hopefully result in a pot of holiday gold. Although the acclaimed tenor is now based in Chicago, he delivers songs and stories with a decidedly Irish slant. Although the show is all about Christmas in Ireland, don’t be surprised if Londra bursts into his popular version of “Danny Boy.”
3 p.m. Dec. 16. $40. Spivey Hall, Clayton State University, 2000 Clayton State Blvd., Morrow. 678-466-4200, www.spiveyhall.org.
ROSWELL
Reindeer Day at Chattahoochee Nature Center
It looks like Santa is loaning out a few of his coursers for this special event. Kids and adults have the rare opportunity to rub antler with live reindeer. Actually, guests aren’t allowed to touch the animals, but can get a view typically reserved for Kriss Kringle himself. Tots can make reindeer crafts from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Activities include creating thumbprint reindeer and constructing reindeer antlers. Grab goodies by the campfire and cozy up to Miss Julia’s Winter Story Time at 3 p.m. Listen to a tale and songs about winter animals and perhaps learn something along the way. All of the activities are included with general admission.

MARIETTA
‘Cabaret’ at the Alley Stage
The celebrated musical returns to life courtesy of director Rob Roy Hardie and Next Stage Theatre Company. Hardie and crew set out to prove life is still a cabaret. It’s back to Nazi-era Berlin as a young American scribe becomes entranced by the gaudy flash of the Kit Kat Club, an indulgent nightspot. That’s where he falls for chanteuse Sally Bowles as chaos ensues outside. Next Stage Theatre Company promises plenty of glitz served with a side of grit. The theatre is located just off the Marietta Square.
8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and Dec. 31; 3 p.m. Sundays. Dec. 14-16, 20-23 and 28-31. $20-$25. The Alley Stage, 11 Anderson St., Marietta. 678-744-6398, http://nextstagetheatrecompany.com.
