LAWRENCEVILLE
Aurora Comedy Nights at Aurora Theatre
Former Atlanta funnyman Jarrod Harris may call Los Angeles his home today, but that doesn’t stop him from bringing his material to the ’burbs for Aurora’s continuing stand-up series. This gives outside-the-Perimeter comedy lovers a chance to see an intimate performance by a guy who often haunts the stages at L.A. comedy hot spots such as the Improv and the Comedy Store. You may have heard his voice on the popular Internet series “Action Figure Therapy,” or watched him wax funny on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.” Stand-up fans can learn more about Harris in the upcoming film “Organic: A Comedy Tour Documentary,” featuring him and fellow comic Ryan Singer. This time Harris shares the stage with three female comedians: Lace Larrabee, Kelly Spillman and show hostess Katie Causey.
