Radio host and former presidential candidate Herman Cain has signed with Fox News as a contributor. In a press release, Cain said, "I'm excited about joining the Fox family as a contributor because it is an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America."
In the same release, Fox executive vice president Bill Shine noted, "As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation's debates."
Cain is currently a syndicated morning host, heard locally on AM750 and 95.5 FM News/Talk FM. Both stations are part of Cox Media Group which also operates The Atlanta-Journal-Constitution. Last month, Cain replaced Neal Boortz, who retired.
Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown also joined Fox News as a contributor recently. Among other changes, the network no longer retains Dick Morris and Sarah Palin as contributors.
