OK, clearly we had food on our minds when we made this week’s roundup. There are just so many great food-related things happening throughout metro Atlanta that deserve to be highlighted.

Food by Design: Sustaining the Future
Explore how design elements affect our food intake everyday with Museum of Design Atlanta’s (MODA) new exhibit “Food by Design: Sustaining the Future.”
Take a look at how people involved in the food industry, from scientists to foodies, are thinking about the current and future design of the global food system.
The exhibit is open through May 21.

MARTA’s Farmer’s Market
Fresh MARTA Market will return to the West End station this week, giving neighborhood residents a chance to purchase produce, baked goods and more from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesdays. Kiosks at H.E. Holmes, College Park and Five Points will open later this month.
The program was started to give communities affordable and accessible options for obtaining produce.

Chris Brown
Troubled R&B star Chris Brown will bring “The Party Tour” to Philips Arena on May 2. Expect a night of energetic hits from Brown’s catalog and plenty of dancing. Atlanta artists Usher and Gucci Mane are featured on Brown’s “Party” single. Perhaps they will surprise fans by appearing during the concert.

Peachtree Rides Carnival
Enjoy some family-fun at Sugarloaf Mills this weekend before the Peachtree Rides Carnival closes on May 7.
Indulge in traditional rides, games and fare in the Sears Outlet parking lot.
