A BAIL REDUCTION HEARING for Aubrey Louis Berry was held May 26, 2009, in Los Angeles Superior Court. Berry pleaded not guilty.

RODERICK ANTHONY BURTON II, Dolla's given name, was buried May 23, 2009, from the Word of Faith Love Center in East Point.

DOLLA'S ACCUSED killer, Aubrey Louis Berry, is said to have shot the rapper after a dispute in the Beverly Center shopping mall. Deputy District Attorney Robert Grace told jurors that Berry fired eight shots at Dolla and his friends. Dolla was hit by four bullets -- three in the back -- as he tried to run from Berry, Grace said in his opening statement.
