Highland Bakery is poised to open its fourth location this week near Tech Tower on the Georgia Tech campus. Calle Latina
A new South American restaurant, Calle Latina Latin Street Food, is set to open this week on Church Street in Decatur in the space that’s been home to Badda Bing catering and sandwich shop. The menu includes empanadas, tortas, arepas and tacos. 406 Church St. 404-918-8386.
INC to Opulent
Roswell restaurateurs Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac are replacing INC Street Food on busy Canton Street with a new concept called Opulent. Slated to open in early April, the spot is billed as a “global-inspired kitchen serving classic favorites with a modern twist.”
Sugo Roswell closes
“After 10 great years in Roswell, we have sold to Dominick’s,” reads a note from the Castellucci family on the Sugo restaurant website. “Dominick’s of Roswell will be opening in late April.” The Castelluccis own Sugo Kitchen in Johns Creek, Double Zero Napoletana in Sandy Springs and the Iberian Pig in Decatur.
Souper Jenny scouting

Hawks Beer Magic
The Hawks will host a craft beer night with eight Atlanta craft breweries during the March 30 game vs. the Orlando Magic.
