Ford Fry’s St. Cecilia opens

Chef/owner Ford Fry and his Rocket Farm Restaurants team welcomed 2014 by opening St. Cecilia on Monday. Located in the former Bluepointe space at the corner of Peachtree and Lenox roads, the concept is helmed by executive chef Brian Horn with a menu inspired by southern European seaside spots. Look for pasta, roasted fish and fresh crudo served in an opulent two-story setting with a chef's table and private dining room. Cuts Steakhouse opens downtown

Cuts Steakhouse opened softly for dinner on Monday, switching spaces with Truva in the downtown Atlanta dining district. Executive chef Donnie Wicker, a native of the Pinehurst area of North Carolina, brings a Southern influence to the classic steakhouse menu with dishes such as Southern-fried lobster tail, pimento mac-and-cheese, and creamy cheddar grits. Rebrandings yield G’s Midtown, Table at Ten

Last month, Communitas Hospitality (10th & Piedmont; HOBNOB) rebranded Gilbert's Cafe & Bar as G's Midtown, a "new American gastropub," with updated decor and a new menu offering "everyday comfort food with a modern, chef-driven twist." communitashospitality.com. Tin Drum and Cafe Agora closings
