Norcross Station Café loses lease after 20 years
Norcross Station Café, the popular restaurant that has occupied the old train depot in the Gwinnett city's downtown for 20 years, is being forced to move. When its lease came up for renewal, the city was required by law to award it to the highest bidder. Mojitos Cuban American Bistro will assume the lease in 2014. Owner Ken Weatherford, who is aiming to keep his restaurant open through the end of the year, is seeking legal counsel as he considers his options. 40 S. Peachtree St., Norcross. www.norcrossstation.com.
